ABOUT NICKEL'S MUSIC
Nickel began his music career on November 8th, 2024 and has been diligently building his business since then. Since childhood, the dream of becoming a musician has been fierce. He has dedicated every day to creating music that represents his inner being. He represents himself through his music by making every aspect of his songs 100% original, recording his own vocals, and drawing his own album covers. Each melody conveys unspoken emotions and every word adds to the story. Besides the vocals, each sound is digitally created from scratch by a synthesizer program, which includes all bass, beats, strings, crashes, and more. The information below breaks down the programs, software, and process even further if you're interested.

DAW: Cakewalk by Bandlab
Digital Synth: VITAL Synthesizer
The DAW I use is Cakewalk by Bandlab which is free to use and complex enough for my music creation. I use the VITAL synthesizer plugin which is also free but incredibly complex and capable of producing an outstanding variety of noises. I highly recommend both.
Tools/ Gear
Microphone: TZ Stellar Condenser XLR
Piano/Keyboard: Yamaha
Computer: Windows 10, AMD, GeForce, NVIDIA.
For vocal recording I use the TZ Stellar X2 Condenser XLR Microphone which is connected to a mechanical arm for easy maneuverability and shock absorption. I use a regular electric piano for midi information but would like to upgrade to a miniature midi in the future. Lastly, my computer runs off of Windows 10, Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard, Ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB Vengeance RAM, and a GeForce RTX Graphic Card. My computer needs more RAM for music production, but besides that this setup works fine.

LANDR distributes my music to a variety of platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and many more. I pay them $23/year for distribution. ASCAP collects royalties I earn from digital streams and the MLC collects mechanical royalties from covers, remixes, and more (both are free to register with).
